Tenant Support & Wellbeing
Supporting More Than Just Your Home
Tenant support is an important part of the service we provide at Lafford Living. We understand that life circumstances can sometimes change during a tenancy and are committed to treating residents fairly, listening to concerns and signposting to appropriate sources of independent advice where specialist support may be required.
Whether you need help understanding your tenancy, are experiencing financial difficulties or would benefit from additional support, we encourage you to contact us as early as possible so that we can discuss the options available.

Financial Wellbeing Support
Independent Advice and Guidance
As part of our wider tenant support services, we may signpost residents towards specialist organisations that offer independent advice and guidance.
We understand that financial circumstances can sometimes change during a tenancy. If you are concerned about household bills, debt, budgeting, benefits or changes in income, seeking independent advice at an early stage can often help prevent problems from becoming more difficult to manage.
While Lafford Living cannot provide financial or debt advice, we may be able to signpost residents towards specialist organisations that offer free, confidential and independent support.
We may signpost residents to organisations such as:
- Citizens Advice: Advice on benefits, housing, employment, debt, consumer rights and a wide range of everyday issues.
- StepChange Debt Charity: Free debt advice and practical support for people struggling with loans, credit cards, arrears and other financial commitments.
- National Debtline: Independent guidance on debt management, budgeting, repayment options and dealing with creditors.
- Local Authority Support Services: Information about local assistance schemes, council support, discretionary housing payments and other community-based support initiatives where available.
We encourage residents to seek advice as early as possible if they are experiencing financial difficulties. Speaking to the right organisation at the right time can often help identify solutions and provide access to additional support.
